Do you know how many types of hot peppers exist in the world? Like, a gazillion. A gazillion hot chili peppers exist in this world. And I’m storing about twenty or so in my basement fridge like a hoarder on ghost pepper crack.
Meet Rooster.
Yes, that’s his name. He has a giant mustache and he and Mrs. Rooster own a chili pepper farm in Woods Hole on Cape Cod.
During the next few months, I’ll be posting signature recipes with exotic and hard-to-find super hot chili peppers for Rooster and his small, but mighty farming business. Each recipe will be posted at the end of the month, whenever I feel like posting it.
If you have any suggestions about what types of recipes you want to see, please let me know. It’ll help keep my creative mind in check. Maybe super hot chili ice cream isn’t such a great idea… Or is it?
I’m excited to start this new project, but I’m even more excited to work for a guy named Rooster.
